There is a write up about Both Sides Vol. 2 in the "Reviews" section at WordOfSouth.com.  The article was written by KJ Armour.  The following was taken from the review:

"The fast pace witty rhymes prove that they are capable of holding their own with the majors without having to change styles to gain fans, “Listen how I rip with no rehearsal, if I do or don’t sign with Universal I’ll never go commercial … and that’s what I’m stickin wit, you don’t like it suck it, I ain’t switchin shit, stayin solid to the bone, sickest on the microphone.” Gearing into a new subject, S.C.C. attacks the instrumental that sounds like it could be placed in a Western or kung fu flick with freaky tales verse for verse."

After being released a month ago, Lil Boosie's Bad Azz is closing in on 100,000 records sold.  The first single "Zoom" is still receiving heavy radio rotation and is gaining video plays on MTV and BET.  After talking with Trill Entertainment, there is still no final decision on what the second single off Bad Azz will be.  Also, there are interviews with Lil Boosie in the latest Source, XXL and Ozone magazines.  Lil Boosie is currently on tour across the South and Midwest.

Speaking of Trill Entertainment, Matt is now providing casting assistance for Trill Entertainment's first full length movie.  As of now, the movie will star Lil Boosie, Webbie, Bun B, Pimp C, Foxx, Big Head and many more.  The "Hollywood" talent for the movie will be announced in the next few weeks.  The movie will be executive produced by Trill Entertainment and produced by Bryan Wright.  The script (co-written by Chris Comeaux) is complete, but the movie is yet to be titled.  The movie has an intense gangsta/street based theme and will be shot in Baton Rouge.  More news next month.

Last month, the S.C.C. and T-Bo provided verses and appeared in the new Pit Boyz video "From Dat Jigga City".  The track and video will appear on the upcoming album and DVD from the Pit Boyz.  This will be the first full length album to drop under their label Color Blind Entertainment; Big Bud is the CEO.  The video was shot in Baton Rouge and will hit the internet very soon.

Max Minelli is set to turn in his first album under Koch RecordsMax Minelli has been recording in Houston, TX with Happy Perez for the past couple months.  You can check out Max Minelli's new song "Centerfold" at MySpace.com/MinelliWorldakaMaxPain.

On Nov. 26th and 27th, Chris Comeax aka "The Real" wrote and directed the video "8th Lock" for the metal band GWAR in New Orleans.  The video was shot entirely at the House Of Shock.  The video was shot HD and even contains live pyro shots.  The House Of Shock is owned by the bands, Pantera and Down, and was voted in the Top 10 scariest spots to visit.  The video is set to appear on MTV's Headbangers Ball in the new future.

Filming for Father Of Lies (formally known as The Bishop) will begin on September 20th Father Of Lies is a drama/suspense about Bishop Calvin Jacobs (Clifton Powell), who is fighting life's everyday temptations.  His church needs money in order to keep expanding, but using his church's money is the only away to invest.  There is a big risk of losing it all which would be several million.  After facing overwhelming stress, he turns to his childhood friend Paul (DMX) for advice.  The deacon's wife, Barbara will be played by Vivica A. Fox Matt will be Co-Producer for Father Of Lies.  The filming will take place in Baton Rouge and New Orleans.  More info later.
