February 2002

As of 2/01/02, the track, "Whiteboys" (aka "Bad Azz Whiteboyz - Remix" which features T-Bo and Mike da Hustla) has remained in the Top 40 in the Dirty South/Rap category for 7 months straight on mp3.com.  It's peak position was the Number 1 spot in the Dirty South and the Number 3 spot in overall Rap

The S.C.C. and Lil Witness both dropped verses on "Ride With Me", a song from an up and coming project from Killa Platinum Records.  Once provided, we will post more information on the KPR album.

The S.C.C. will be featured on Young Kelos's compilation, A Hustler's Lifestyle, which will come out under his own label, Illicit Entertaimentz.  This will be his second compilation album; it is expected to be out by summer.

January 2002

Lil Witness has just released his debut album, Beside Myself. If a store near you does not stock the CD yet, you can order a copy off of the site www.lilwitness.com. Beside Myself contains 18 tracks with guest appearances from: S.C.C., T-Bo, Mike da Hustla, Jubei, Young Tymas, Rashi, Draztic, and Mayhemm among others. We guarantee a nice purchase or your money back.

The compilation album is in it's "mixing" stage and is still set to be released this Spring. Soulja Slim and X-Conn have joined the list of guest appearances. Soulja Slim's most recent album, "The Streets Made Me", has already sold well over 100,000 copies.

Emperah Nero, a.k.a. MC Nero, will be releasing a greatest hits album this month. Past hits include: "Gotta Lotta Respect", "Baton Rouge City", "Baton Rouge Mack", "Da Nero Bounce" and "Break'em Off Somethin". Unless the playlist changes, the S.C.C. will probably be featured on 2 tracks.

Money and Power Records is expected to have a big year in 2002. Sam I Am's debut, I'm Raw, will be the first project out. Sam's lead single is "Pop That", which features Mookie and Fifth Ward Weebie (from "Shake It Like A Dog").
We will post more information once the street date is set.
